The Wilson Cellular Amplifier has a better receiver than what's in your cell phone. Its advanced electronics are very sensitive and able to receive small signals which would go undetected by most cell phones. It also has a better transmitter which is much more powerful than that in you cell phone. With a Wilson Cellular Antenna the amplifier allows your voice to be heard by distant cell sites, increasing coverage up to 50 miles or more. Coverage increase is in a line of sight environment without obstruction by mountains, buildings, etc.

It allows one or more users to benefit from an outside antenna and amplifier without a physical connection to the cell phone. This eliminates the need for an external antenna connection on the cell phone. The Wilson wireless dual band amplifier performs comparably to a dual band direct connect amplifier. Both transmit up to 3 watts to the cell site and receive a signal as weak as -110 dBm.
Using Smart Technology, this amplifier automatically adjusts the power based upon the cell site's requirements. This patent pending technology ensures that the power to the cell site is within the carrier's specifications.
