Tycon Power Systems Power over Ethernet power sources deliver power and data over CAT5 cable. They are a power supply and inserter in one package. They are used to provide power to electronic devices remotely up to 100 meters. All POE power sources have autoranging inputs from 110VAC 60hz to 240VAC 50hz. They feature automatic overvoltage protection, short circuit protection and over current protection. They are UL/CB/CE/FCC listed and meet RoHs requirements.

POE power sources / inserters supply up to 24W and are available in DC Voltages of 18V, 24V and 48V. They are suitable for remotely powering all kinds of electronic devices that accept power over Ethernet. These POE power sources supply power on Pins 4,5 (V+) and Pins 7,8 (V-). They work with most IEEE 802.3af devices but they do not have an IEEE802.3af detect function.

These POE Inserters have built in Ethernet surge protection which eliminates an additional component from the system.
