301111 Wilson Yagi Cellular Antenna 800 MHz
The 32" boom is the main part of the antenna, and is constructed of 1" sqaure aluminum. There are 8 elements on the boom, which are riveted to the boom for added strength and durability.
The output coaxial connector is an "N" type female, and the feed system is a "T-Match" and is used for low loss and wide bandwidth. The antenna impedance is 50 Ohms, with 50 Watts of Max Power.
The pipe mount hardware is included with the purchase of a Wilson Cellular Antenna. The pipe mount is adjustable to accommodate pipe diameters from 1/2" to 1-1/2". |

The Wilson Yagi Outperforms the Competition. Over 10 Times More Signal Than A Cellphone Without An External Antenna!
Wilson Yagi Cellular Antennas are very effective at increasing your cell phone's signal strength in rural areas. The Yagi is a directional antenna and should be mounted above tree lines and aimed directly at your service providers nearest cell tower. It is a single band (806-894 MHz) cellular antenna designed for fixed installations.
The Wilson Yagi Cellular Antenna is carefully designed to minimize loss and maximize gain on the 800 MHz band. Wilson's innovative design results in high efficiency with low losses and will get the most signal to and from your cellular phone. Thanks to our top notch engineering team and attention to detail Wilson has the best 800 MHz Yagi cellular antenna available.
Usage:
The Wilson Yagi Cellular Antennas main benefit over our other antennas is its ability to focus its signal in one direction. This antenna is designed for use on stationary objects such as buildings. If this antenna is not aimed correctly it will loose its effectiveness.

"...I often had no signal and dropped calls. Now my signal has drastically improved. I once broke down in Baker, CA and had to walk to call for help because there was no signal. Now I get signal all the way through Baker. I don't have to talk loud anymore hoping to be heard. My dispatcher loves the antenna as well because now he can get the information he needs from me." - Trucker Ronald Goetter from Tucson, AZ
"It's tremendous! I'm so happy with this unit. I don't know how you could make it any better. I will never be without a Wilson Antenna again, ever! I never knew a cell phone could be so clear. After three years of fighting to make calls I'm talking from areas in North Carolina that I've never been able to talk to anyone from before and we've talked for miles." -Trucker Jim Fritzgerald from Palm Harbor, FL
"Your antenna works! It's fantastic! I can even use my phone in a remote area in Arkansas that I could never get coverage in. My run from Kansas City to Carthridge, Kansas used to have poor coverage, now I have coverage all the way through." -Trucker Leonard Miller from Carthridge, KS

Wilson Yagi Installation (see Figure 2)
The Yagi antenna is to be mounted horizontally with the radials vertical. The included mounting brackets are adjustable and will accommodate pipe diameters from 1/2 inch to 1 1/2 inches. (Pipe not included). The Yagi antenna should be mounted to minimize obstructions between the antenna and your provider's strongest signal.
Caution:
- Lightning protection is recommended for all installations (#859902).
- Take extreme care to ensure that neither you nor the antenna come near any electric power lines.

To obtain maximum performance, you must "tune" the antenna (see Figure 3). This is done by directly connecting the Yagi to your cellphone, while in test mode, with an adapter (sold separately, see below). Turn the Yagi in 10 degree increments while checking the cellphone's signal level. At each point you may need to wait a few seconds as your phone updates. To find your phone's test mode, click HERE. Signal readings are given as a negative number (example -86). The larger the number the more powerful the signal (-75 is stronger than -84).
Important: After finding the strongest signal, be sure the Yagi is not pointing across the coverage area. The antenna should point away from the building to help prevent oscillation (feed back).
Note: Your strongest signal may not be in the direction of the nearest tower
Once you have obtained the strongest signal (left), fully tighten the mounting hardware. After the entire system is installed and performing correctly, weatherproof all connections.
Attaching your Phone to the Adapter
In order to attach your cellular antenna to your cellphone you will need an Adapter. The Adapter connects the phone to the antenna cable and transfers power to and from the antenna.
