InControl

Central Management - Use our comprehensive suite of network management tools to manage several networks, all from one elegant and intuitive web interface.

Comprehensive Control - InControl allows you to quickly view and change the configuration of your PolePoint devices. Configuration profiles make network changes simple, whether you are modifying existing devices or adding new ones. All you need to do is apply your profile(s) to target PolePoint devices, and you're done.

Simple Setup, Comprehensive Centralized Management

• Centralized Control - Our powerful central management system lets you maintain several configuration profiles and apply them to custom groups of PolePoint devices
  
• Self-configuration and discovery - A PolePoint AP will regularly look for configuration and firmware updates over the Internet once powered up.
  
• Advanced Monitoring - Each PolePoint is monitored automatically. Statistics are stored for network analysis and troubleshooting.
  
• Network Expansion Made Easy – When it comes time to expand your network, you can apply your current configuration to new devices. All you have to do is plug them in and InControl programs them for you!
  

Multiple Virtual Access Points (VAP) – This powerful WLAN feature allows one PolePoint to create up to 16 unique wireless networks!

• Fully customizable – Each VAP is fully customizable (SSID, encryption, and authentication), giving you the flexibility to create different networks for each group of people that you need to serve.
  
• Flexible Security – For each VAP you choose the encryption method, authentication policy, VLAN, and traffic control policies. Each user can only use the network resources that you allow them to.

• High Transmit Power – PePWave has engineered PolePoint with up to 4 times the output power than competing AP's! This gives you greater coverage, better resistance to interference, and more reliable connections.
  
• Extreme Receive Sensitivity – WiFi communications are a two way street, simply having a lot of power at the AP does not guarantee your users will have a good connection. Laptops and PDA's have low powered WiFi cards to save battery life, PolePoint is designed to “hear” these low powered devices at greater distances.
  

External Antenna Connector – PolePoint has an external antenna connector, so you can choose the antenna that best suits the needs of your environment to maximize the benefits of our radio technology.

• WMM (Wi-Fi Multimedia) and QoS (Quality of Service) Support - Keep connected and make the most of sharing the Internet with VoIP, multimedia streams. Traffic from different applications is intelligently optimized.
  
• WDS (Wireless Distribution System) Support - Set up multiple PolePoint AP's throughout a large corporate network where Ethernet is not available. Now you can configure them to bridge with another PolePoint to seamlessly extend Wi-Fi coverage wherever you need it, without cable runs.
